Arrowfen

Arrowfen is the Game of the Amazons in a reed fen. On your turn move one of your heron queens like a chess queen, any distance in a straight line or diagonal, then from where she lands throw a reed spear the same way: the square it hits becomes a thicket for the rest of the game. Queens and spears never pass over a queen or a thicket. Whoever cannot move on their turn loses; once the two sides are walled apart, the side with more open land wins. Six fens grow from a 6x6 board with two queens each to the classic 10x10 with four, against rivals that weigh territory and look at your best answer. There is a two-player game on one screen and a hint. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch, in English or Bulgarian.
