Delvewell

Delvewell is a roguelike about falling. You drop down a deep well in gunboots: on a ledge the button jumps, in the air it fires straight down, and every shot slows your fall. The boots reload when you land or stomp an enemy. Plain foes can be stomped, red spiky ones must be shot. Nine levels in three wells are generated fresh for every run, with bats, snails, spikers, jellyfish, turtles and wisps arriving one well at a time. After each level you pick one of three upgrades, such as spread shot, heavy rounds or a feather cloak, or spend gems on healing and new choices. Kills strung together in the air pay out gems on landing. One life per run. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch, in English or Bulgarian.
