About this title
Glaivemere is a turn-based roguelite on a hex map. You carry a glaive, a shield and a lantern down sixteen drowned halls to the bell at the bottom. There is no attack button: you strike by stepping into a foe, sweep the foes you walk past and thrust at the one straight ahead.
- Readable tactics: red hexes show exactly where every foe can strike, and before you step the game marks the foes you will hit and warns with a cracked heart if the step would cost you one
- Shield bash and leap: push foes into pillars, water or embers, or jump over them and stun where you land
- Six kinds of foe: husks, slingers that shoot along lines, slow two-hit brutes, bombers, wraiths that glide over water and the Warden of the Deep
- Twelve boons from lit shrines, picked one of three after every cleared depth
- Four strata, sixteen depths, a new layout every descent, plus a daily descent that is the same for everyone on the day
- Your run is saved at the start of every depth; best depth and score are kept
- Keyboard, mouse, controller or touch; English and Bulgarian
- Native builds for Windows (64-bit), Linux (64-bit) and Android (64-bit ARM); progress and settings are saved; no ads, no tracking, no internet needed.
Code and text written with AI assistance; checked by PN Scripts with automated tests. Every shape is drawn and every sound synthesised by code; there are no AI-generated image or audio files. Made by PN Scripts.
