Glyphdeep

Glyphdeep is a turn-based roguelike drawn entirely in coloured letters on a monospace grid. You are the @, and you descend ten generated depths of rooms, corridors and doors, seen through shadowcast field of view. Ten monster kinds, from rats and jackals to wraiths, regenerating trolls and fire-breathing drakes, hunt you. Potions and scrolls have unidentified names until you try them, weapons and armour can be swapped, and hunger keeps you moving. Each level-up offers a choice of three perks. Take the Glyph of Depth on depth 10 to win; death ends the run. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch.
