About this title
Heartwold is the classic trick-taking game Hearts for one player against three AI opponents. Each hand you pass three cards left, right, across or not at all, then follow suit and try to avoid hearts (1 point each) and the queen of spades (13). Take all 26 and you shoot the moon: everyone else gets 26 instead. The AI players void suits, duck under the winning card, dump the queen and high hearts on others, block a moon attempt and go for the moon themselves when the cards allow. The match ends when someone reaches 100, and the lowest score wins. Illegal cards are dimmed and every refusal is explained. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch.
