About this title
About this title
Hushfen is a turn-based stealth puzzle in the reedbeds. Each turn the otter moves one tile or waits, then every bird acts. Reach the burrow without ending a turn in a bird's view, bring the pearl home and do it in par moves for three stars.
- Readable birds: orange tiles show where every bird looks now, faint outlines where it will look after the turn
- Four kinds of watcher: herons stand and stare, cranes turn clockwise, bitterns patrol a path, owls look both ways and switch every turn
- Sneak tricks: hide in reeds, startle a bird by stepping on it from behind or the side, throw pebbles and step on creaky boards to lure birds away
- 30 fens in three chapters (Reedbeds, Lantern dyke, Owl wood); every fen was generated and solved by a search program, and par is the proven shortest solution
- Undo any number of moves; getting spotted steps you back one move
- Keyboard, mouse, controller or touch; English and Bulgarian
- Native builds for Windows (64-bit), Linux (64-bit) and Android (64-bit ARM); progress and settings are saved; no ads, no tracking, no internet needed.
Code and text written with AI assistance; checked by PN Scripts with automated tests. Every shape is drawn and every sound synthesised by code; there are no AI-generated image or audio files. Made by PN Scripts.
