Jarlmoor

Jarlmoor is Brandubh, the small Celtic member of the tafl family of board games. The jarl and his four guards start in the middle of a 7x7 board with eight raiders around them. Every piece moves like a rook. Sandwich an enemy between two of your pieces, or one piece and a corner or the empty throne, to capture it. The jarl's side wins when he reaches a corner; the raiders win when they trap him, with two raiders in the open or four beside the throne. A saga of six matches against the computer swaps sides each match and brings three sharper rivals; two people can also play on one screen. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch, in English or Bulgarian.
