Millcroft

Millcroft is Nine Men's Morris, the old mill game, on an oak board in a miller's yard. Each side places nine stones in turn, then moves them along the lines to a free neighbour. Three in a row is a mill and takes an enemy stone that is not in a mill. With three stones left a side may jump to any free point; a side reduced to two stones, or with no move, loses, and fifty moves without a capture or a position seen three times is a draw. Beat four millers in turn, from a boy who takes what he sees to a grandmother who looks three turns ahead, or play a friend on the same screen. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch, in English or Bulgarian.
