Pawnbrook

Pawnbrook is a cross-and-circle race board game in the Ludo family, set on a wooden board with four meadow ponds. Each of four seats has four pawns: roll a six to bring one out, land on a rival to send it back to its pond, rest on stars and start squares where nobody can capture you, and finish with an exact roll. A six, a capture or a pawn reaching home gives another roll, but three sixes in a row lose the turn. Any seat can be a human, one of four AI styles (racer, hunter, careful, balanced) or empty, and a fast speed shortens AI turns. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch.
