About this title
Plinkhollow is a one-button rhythm game. One firefly rests on a stepping stone while the other circles around it; tap when the circling one reaches the next stone and it lands, plucking the next note of the tune. The shape of the path is the rhythm: a straight line is one beat, a quarter turn half a beat, three quarters of a turn a beat and a half.
- 18 songs in three places (Reed hollow, Lantern roots, Moonwell), from gentle 96 bpm walks to 150 bpm runs
- Your taps play the melody: every landed stone plucks the next note over a generated backing band
- Twirl stones reverse the circling; lanterns are checkpoints; five lights forgive a few misses
- Endless brook: one long path that keeps getting trickier
- Practice mode, a calibration test and a timing offset for any screen or speaker
- Any key, mouse button, controller button or a tap anywhere; English and Bulgarian
- Native builds for Windows (64-bit), Linux (64-bit) and Android (64-bit ARM); progress and settings are saved; no ads, no tracking, no internet needed.
