Rhombwick

Rhombwick is a symmetry puzzle in Bulgarian cross-stitch, the shevitsa. Every pattern is symmetric: across the middle, across both axes, or across the axes and the diagonals too, and the mirror lines are marked on the linen. A few stitches are already in place, and each one tells you the colour of all its mirror twins; pick a thread and stitch the rest, cell by cell or by dragging along a row. A wrong stitch knots the thread, and three knots mean starting the cloth again. Twenty-four patterns of rhombs, rings, stars, hooks and trees of life move from copying a given half to finding the twins of single stitches, and a pattern of the day waits every day.
