Scaleflint

Scaleflint is a vertical wall-jump platformer in portrait. A gecko climbs eight chimney shafts by sliding down walls, kicking off them and taking short climbing hops, three per wall. Water rises from below the whole time and speeds up if you dawdle far ahead of it. Later shafts add bone spikes on the walls, sandstone ledges that crumble half a second after you land, and vents that blow you sideways. Flags on wide ledges are checkpoints; water or spikes cost one of three lives, and every 30 flies eaten give one back. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch.
