Skyfennel

Skyfennel is a vertical shoot-'em-up flown by a fennel seed pod over patchwork farmland. The pod fires on its own; you weave through authored waves of gnats on curved flight paths, beetle formations, weaving moths, diving wasps and thistle pods. Carrier enemies drop spread, homing, shield and bomb power-ups, and the pollen that downed insects shed raises your score multiplier up to x5. Each of the three stages ends with a boss that changes its bullet patterns twice: the Thistle Crow, the Hornet Queen and the Gale Moth, whose wind pushes you sideways. You have 3 lives and 3 bombs. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch.
