Stonemere

Stonemere is Capture Go, the beginner form of Go: place stones on a 7x7 or 9x9 board, take away all the liberties of a group to capture it, and be the first to capture the required number of stones (1, 3 or 5). Real liberties, no suicide and the ko rule. Twelve capture problems teach atari, double atari, ladders and nets; a ladder of nine matches pits you against an AI that reads ladders and looks ahead, at three strengths; a two-player mode shares one screen. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch.
