About this title
Tierceholm is Bulgarian Belot, the country's favourite card game, at a village tavern: you and your partner Kalina against Bay Ivan and Dimo. Thirty-two cards, dealing and play counter-clockwise, five cards and then bidding from clubs up to no trumps and all trumps, with double and redouble, then three more cards and eight tricks. Follow suit, go higher when trumps are led or in all trumps, and trump when you cannot follow unless your partner holds the trick. Tierce, quarte, quint, four of a kind and belote are announced for you; the bidding team must outscore the other or everything goes to the defenders, and a tie leaves the points hanging. Play a quick game to 51 or a full one to 151. It plays in the browser with a keyboard, mouse or touch, in English or Bulgarian.
